One of the questions I am asked most often is, “How can I become a better person?” or “How can I progress spiritually?”

If someone is a Christian, they may ask how they can take the next step along the path that Jesus showed us. Others simply want to know how they can grow as a person and live a more meaningful life.

The answer, in my experience, is remarkably simple.

Love Is the Key

If there is one truth that has become clearer to me through more than 50 years of mediumship, healing, trance work and teaching, it is this:

Love is the answer to everything.

Whether we are living our lives here on Earth or have passed into the next world, the principle remains exactly the same. The way we grow spiritually never changes.

People often think there must be a secret technique or special knowledge that allows them to move forward.

There isn’t.

The way forward begins by helping the people around you.

Want to Take the Next Step? Help Someone Else

Many people ask how they can progress spiritually, but before taking the next step themselves, they should first ask:

“Who can I help today?”

Every one of us has love within us. The question is whether we choose to express it.

Helping others doesn’t require grand gestures. It can be as simple as offering kindness, listening to someone who is struggling, supporting a neighbour, encouraging a friend or helping a complete stranger who needs it.

Think about the genuinely good people you have known throughout your life.

Some may be religious, while others are not.

Yet there is something they all have in common. They naturally care for others. They look beyond themselves and do what they can to make someone else’s life a little easier.

That is spiritual progress in action.

Help Everyone You Can

Our responsibility isn’t limited to our own family.

Of course, we should care for those closest to us, but love should never stop there.

Help your friends.

Help your neighbours.

Help people you’ve never met before.

If someone needs help and you are able to give it, then do so.

During clairvoyance, I often receive evidence from those in the spirit world about the kindness they showed during their lives. Sometimes they quietly helped people without expecting recognition, and even their own families didn’t realise quite how much they had done.

Those acts of kindness mattered.

Nothing done with genuine love is ever wasted.

Progress Comes Naturally

The interesting thing is that when you focus on helping others, you stop worrying about your own spiritual progress.

And that’s exactly when progress happens.

By demonstrating love, compassion and kindness every day, you naturally become a better person.

You don’t have to chase spiritual growth.

It follows as a result of the life you choose to live.

Will We Meet Our Loved Ones Again?

Another question people often ask is whether we will see everyone again after we leave this world.

My answer is yes.

Without doubt, you will meet your loved ones again.

However, it’s important to understand that not everyone progresses to the same level.

The spirit world contains many different levels of development.

Someone who has lived a life filled with love, kindness and service will naturally have progressed further than someone who has lived a selfish or harmful life.

Just as people are different here, they continue their spiritual journey after death.

The more spiritually advanced often return to help those who are still learning.

And one day, you may find yourself helping others in exactly the same way.

Learning never stops.

Growth never stops.

Love never stops.

The Purpose of Life

Everything I have witnessed through mediumship, trance communication, healing and teaching over the past five decades points to the same conclusion.

Life is not about wealth, status or possessions.

It is about learning to love.

It is about helping others.

It is about becoming kinder, more compassionate and more selfless each day.

Whether we are living on Earth or continuing our journey in the next world, the principle never changes.

If you want to progress spiritually, don’t spend your life asking how to move forward.

Look around you.

Find someone who needs your help.

Offer kindness.

Show love.

Because in helping others, you will discover that you have already taken the next step on your own spiritual journey.
