A Word of Warning on the Spiritual Pathway

Many people today are curious about spirituality. Questions such as “Is there life after death?”, “Can our loved ones still be around us?” or “What else exists beyond this world?” are completely understandable.

For many, that curiosity leads to psychic fairs, Tarot cards, readings, healing, spiritual circles, online videos and all sorts of different experiences. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this. We are all on our own spiritual pathways, learning and growing through life in our own ways.

However, I wanted to write this blog simply as a word of caution.

Over the last few weeks, I have helped several people who had spirits attached to them. In some cases, these spirits had become permanently attached; in others, they came and went. The difficult thing is that people do not always realise what is happening to them or understand why they suddenly feel different.

So, my message is not to stop exploring spirituality — far from it. My message is simply to use common sense and be careful.

The Reality of the Spirit World

When we think about life, we know there are all kinds of people in the world. There are good people, difficult people and, sadly, some very unpleasant or even evil people.

At some point, we all pass from this world into spirit.

But something important to understand is this: not everyone immediately moves on to the next world.

We all have free will.

Some souls choose not to move on. Some may not want to. Others may fear consequences from the lives they have lived. There are many reasons why a spirit may remain close to the earth plane.

This is often what people describe as a ghost or spirit in a house. It does not automatically mean something evil is present — many are simply souls who have chosen not to move on.

But this is where caution becomes important.

Being Open to Spirit

Many people I help are naturally open to spirit, and in many ways that is a lovely thing. Sensitivity and awareness can bring comfort, healing and connection.

However, when you actively try to sense spirit, you are opening yourself up.

Perhaps you visit a psychic fair. Perhaps you are trying meditation or sensing energy. Maybe you feel something and think:

“I’m progressing. I can sense something close to me.”

But this is the point I want people to consider carefully.

If you draw something closer to you, it may be wonderful. It may be a loved one. It may be something kind and uplifting.

But it may not always be.

Just as there is good and bad in this world, there is also good and bad within spirit.

And sometimes, negative spirits do not appear negative at first.

Not Everything Is What It Seems

Time and time again, I have dealt with situations where something unpleasant or harmful first appeared kind, comforting or helpful.

It presented itself as something positive.

The person trusted it, drew it closer and gradually allowed it into their lives — only to later find themselves struggling emotionally, mentally or spiritually.

This is why I say: if you sense something, do not automatically invite it closer.

Instead, seek advice.

Sit in a protected circle with experienced people who understand what they are doing. Learn properly. Ask questions. Understand what you are working with rather than assuming everything will always be fine.

Most of the time, people are perfectly okay.

But not always.

Signs Something May Be Wrong

One thing I have noticed over many years of helping people is that sometimes the individual themselves does not realise something is wrong.

Often, it is the people around them who notice first.

A sudden change in character can sometimes be a warning sign.

Perhaps someone becomes unusually aggressive. More confrontational. More angry. More unlike themselves.

Sometimes, they begin behaving in ways that feel completely out of character.

In certain situations, the spirit attached to them can make the person feel strangely powerful or strong, to the point where they almost do not want help — even though they desperately need it.

That is why family and friends often notice changes before the person themselves does.

A Final Thought

I want to be very clear: this is not meant to frighten anyone.

You are not going to simply walk down the street and suddenly have a spirit attach itself to you.

The situations I deal with almost always happen when someone is intentionally opening themselves up spiritually and trying to sense or connect.

Most people never experience a problem.

But because I regularly help people who have had spirits attach themselves, I felt it was important to share this warning.

Explore spirituality if it calls to you. Learn, question and grow.

But do so carefully, sensibly and with guidance.

Above all else, remember: use your common sense.
