Flowers left by Harry Edwards in a healing circle.

One of the Most Beautiful Things I Have Ever Witnessed as a Medium

Over the years as a medium, I have seen many remarkable and moving things take place. But every so often, something happens that reminds you just how powerful love, healing and the spirit world can truly be.

Recently, during one of my training circles, I witnessed one of the most beautiful experiences I have ever seen.

The evening was centred around healing.

In a spiritual circle, we are always bringing two worlds together — this world and the spirit world. Healing plays an incredibly important part in that process because healing, at its very heart, is love. It is caring for others, supporting them, and helping people through difficult times. In many ways, healing is one of the purest forms of mediumship.

There were six people in the circle that evening, all coming together to learn, support one another and work with healing energy.

Many years ago, I had an unusual experience while giving a reading over Zoom. Quite unexpectedly, a gentleman appeared beside me and sat in a chair nearby. It was none other than Harry Edwards.

For those unfamiliar with him, Harry Edwards was one of the most respected spiritual healers the UK has ever known. Many people believed he performed extraordinary healings and he later founded the famous healing sanctuary that still carries his name today.

At first, I doubted what I was seeing.

Surely it could not be Harry Edwards sitting beside me?

Yet as the reading unfolded, it all made perfect sense. The lady I was reading for had actually worked alongside him many years before. Suddenly, his presence became completely understandable.

That was my first real connection with Harry Edwards.

Fast forward to this recent healing circle.

Among those attending was a lovely lady who had sat in my circle for many years. She had faced cancer twice and been through more challenges than most people can imagine. Yet despite everything she had endured, she remained one of those rare souls who spends her life thinking about others rather than herself.

We all know people like this — kind, selfless individuals who quietly help everyone around them.

During the evening, I asked her if she would share some of her experiences.

Because of her faith, her understanding and her own mediumship, she had witnessed extraordinary things while receiving healing during her illness. Week after week, healing had been sent to her from myself and many others, and during those moments she experienced things that were deeply comforting and beautiful.

As she spoke, something extraordinary happened.

Standing beside me once again was Harry Edwards.

This time, I was not the only one aware of him.

Three other mediums in the circle independently sensed his presence too.

He stood quietly, listening as this lady bravely shared what healing had meant to her and the experiences she had gone through.

In that moment, the two worlds truly came together.

The atmosphere in the room was full of compassion, love and understanding. It felt as though many healers from the spirit world had gathered close — listening, supporting and learning alongside us.

Then came the moment I will never forget.

As the evening drew to an end, Harry Edwards walked across the circle towards this lovely lady.

He wanted to thank her.

Not through words, but through a simple, beautiful gesture.

I watched as he placed a bunch of flowers gently onto her lap.

It was his way of saying thank you for sharing her experiences, for helping others understand healing, and for helping bring the two worlds closer together.

It is difficult to explain just how moving that moment was.

It was not dramatic or overwhelming.

It was simply love.

Pure kindness. Gratitude. Compassion.

One soul recognising the courage and goodness of another.

Moments like these remind me why healing matters so much. They remind me that love continues beyond this life, and that those in the spirit world are often far closer than we realise.

Sometimes, the most beautiful experiences are also the simplest.

And this was certainly one I will never forget.
