Can I Still Talk to My Loved Ones After They’ve Passed?

One of the most heartfelt questions I’m regularly asked is this: can I still talk to my loved ones after they’ve passed over?

Whether it’s a parent, grandparent, partner, or close friend, the desire to stay connected doesn’t disappear when someone leaves the physical world. The truth is both simple and comforting—you are already talking to them, even if you don’t realise it.

Understanding the Spirit World

When someone passes, they are no longer in a physical body. That means no voice, no lungs, no spoken words in the way we understand them. Instead, communication becomes something much more natural—it becomes thought.

In the spirit world, everything is done through the power of the mind. This is how spirits communicate with one another, and it’s also how they communicate with us.

This is why, during clairvoyance, messages come through as thoughts, impressions, and feelings rather than spoken conversations. Spirits are able to give evidence, share memories, and even show that they are aware of what is happening in your life right now—because they can perceive your thoughts just as clearly.

When You Think of Them, They Are Close

Have you ever picked up a photograph of someone you’ve lost and suddenly felt something? A presence, a closeness, a shift in emotion?

It’s easy to dismiss this as memory or imagination—just the mind replaying moments from the past. But in reality, something much deeper may be taking place.

In the spirit world, thought is connection.

The moment you think of someone, they are drawn to you. There is no distance in the way we understand it. Whether you are here in the UK or on the other side of the world, it makes no difference. Through thought, they can be with you instantly.

Why They Don’t Speak Like We Do

People often expect communication from the spirit world to be like a conversation here—clear words, audible voices, direct responses.

But it doesn’t work that way.

Your loved ones aren’t going to tap you on the shoulder or speak to you out loud. Instead, communication is subtle. It comes through feelings, thoughts, and gentle impressions.

And this is where many people miss it.

They feel something… then doubt it.
They sense a presence… then dismiss it.
They receive a thought… then assume it’s their own.

Asking for Help

If you’re facing a problem or searching for direction, you can speak to your loved ones at any time.

You don’t need to say anything out loud. Simply think. Ask your question clearly in your mind.

That alone is enough.

Then, let it go.

You may not receive an immediate answer, but often—later that day or the next—a thought will come to you. A new idea, a sense of clarity, a feeling about what to do next.

And you may wonder… was that me, or was that them?

The truth is, very often, it’s them.

Keeping Your Mind Open

One of the biggest barriers to this connection is doubt. People experience something genuine, then immediately close it down:

“No, that can’t be real.”
“It’s just my imagination.”

But if you begin to open your mind, you’ll start to notice just how often these moments occur.

Because your loved ones are not far away. They are not lost. They are not gone in the way many people fear.

They are simply in a different state—and as soon as you think of them, they are with you.

A Conversation That Never Ends

So, can you still talk to your loved ones?

Yes—you already are.

Every thought, every memory, every quiet moment where you reach out to them… that is a form of communication.

And when you begin to trust it, you’ll realise that the connection never truly ended.
