Understanding Spiritual Healing.

Understanding Spiritual Healing

Many people ask me about healing—what it is and how it works. The truth is, healing is a vast and deeply spiritual subject. When people search for answers online, they often find countless methods, techniques, and definitions, leaving them wondering where to begin. But at its core, healing is simple: it is a connection between us and the spirit world, a gift from those who love us and want to help.

Healing energy flows from spirit, from those who walk beside us unseen. A healer is simply a bridge, a channel through which that loving energy can be passed to you. In everyday life, your loved ones in spirit are always near, wanting to guide and support you. But often, we are too busy, too distracted, or simply unaware of their presence. Healing offers a moment of stillness—an invitation for them to draw close and for you to receive what they long to give.

If you seek a healer, trust your intuition. A true healer works from a place of love and service, never for greed or personal gain. If you ever feel uncomfortable or sense that someone is not working with pure intentions, walk away. Healing should be given freely, with kindness and sincerity.

The healing I practice—whether in my home or at our local church—is hands-on healing, sometimes called spiritual healing. But it is not limited by faith or belief. Whether you follow a particular religion or none at all, the healing comes from a divine source, guided by those in spirit who have trained to work with this energy. A healer does not “fix” or “cure”—they simply open the doorway for spirit to work through them and bring what is needed.

Opening Yourself to Healing

The key to receiving healing is openness. By simply sitting with a healer and allowing yourself to be present, you create the space for spirit to draw near. Your loved ones will come close, but they will also bring healers from the spirit world—souls who have dedicated themselves to this sacred work. And in that moment, healing can take place in ways that go beyond the physical.

Healing is not just about the body—it is about the mind, the heart, and the soul. Many people come for healing with physical conditions, and while not everything can be cured, the peace and balance they find are profound. Those who live with stress, anxiety, or emotional burdens often leave feeling lighter, more centered, and deeply uplifted. Even when physical healing is not possible, the power of spiritual healing lies in restoring calm, bringing clarity, and surrounding you with love.

Allowing Spirit to Help You

So many people today are overwhelmed by life’s challenges, unknowingly closing themselves off to the help that is waiting for them. But if you can open your heart, even just a little, to the possibility of healing, you will be amazed at what can happen. When you ask for healing, when you allow yourself to receive, those in spirit who love you will be there. I promise you this—if you reach out to them, they will reach back to you. Healing is not about believing—it is about experiencing. And when you do, you will feel the love that has always been there, waiting for you to welcome it in.
