Many people hold the belief that living a good life leads to a better place in the afterlife. This idea brings comfort to those who have lived with kindness and integrity, but for those who may not have walked such a path, the thought can be unsettling. Understandably, they may ask, “How can you prove this?”
As a medium, I witness the truth of this time and time again. When I connect with spirit during clairvoyance, I find that those who lived with love, compassion, and kindness come through effortlessly. The moment they draw close to the earthly plane, their memories return, and their presence is filled with warmth and peace. It does not matter what their beliefs or religion were in life—what truly matters is how they lived, how they treated others, and the love they gave.
But there are also those who, in life, were not so kind. When they pass to the other side, they cannot hide from who they are. In the spirit world, there is no illusion—each soul sees the full truth of their life, the impact of their actions, and the legacy they left behind. For those who have caused harm, facing this reality is not easy.
Yet, I often witness something deeply moving: the courage of a soul who seeks redemption. When a spirit of light and love comes through, it creates an opening, a safe passage for others to follow. And then, I sometimes sense a soul hesitantly stepping forward—one who once caused pain, now longing to make amends. They describe themselves as a monster, ashamed of what they did, but ready to take the first step toward healing.
This moment—coming back to acknowledge their mistakes, to say “I am sorry”—is profound. It is the beginning of their journey toward growth and transformation. It is never too late for a soul to seek the light, but the path is much easier for those who have already walked in love while on Earth.
Through these experiences, I have no doubt that the way we live our lives truly matters. The more kindness we give, the more love we share, the higher and brighter our journey will be when we pass to the other side. And for those who may have faltered, there is always hope—because the soul’s journey is one of learning, growth, and progression with humility to help others.
